Turn, Turn, Turn

Since last week I finished introduce you the main characters in CSI: Las Vegas. I’m going to talk about my favorite episode, ’’Turn, Turn, Turn ’’ (seson9 episode16). First of all, there is a guest appearance, Taylor Swift. She is a great singer, and I really like her.

Episode started with everyone celebrated Nick's birthday, and they got the message of a murder case. When Nick arrived at the crime scene, a hotel, he realized that the victim was someone he knew. Time went back to a year ago, there's a case in a hotel, where Nick first met Haley, played by Taylor, when she's still a naive and curious girl. Time went by, Haley became more and more rebellious, because of friend's betrayal and her mom's weird behavior. Every time when Nick saw her, she just seems to be unhappier. And now, it only left her dead body. Contrast to the wanderer, Nick also met a year ago, received Nick's kindness, and now ready to enter a college. After the investigation, they found out the case is connected to another case few months ago.

I like this episode not only because of the suspenseful story line, but also it deeply described the relationship between people. Especially when Nick solved the case, he blamed himself for not giving enough concerned towards Haley, and didn't figure out the case which before death, so it turned out to be this consequence. It really moves me when Nick's tears fell.

(It's photo of Taylor Swift and George Eads, who acted Nick.)

Here's Taylor's scene in CSI ->

You should check out this episode yourself to find out the rest of the details of it. It's really worth watching.

P.S. The brilliant song in 3:00 is ''You're Not Sorry''(click to listen on YouTube) by Taylor Swift.

Characters-2

Hi everyone, last week I've make some brief introduce of  five characters in CSI: Las Vegas. These week I'll continue to introduce you another five characters that I familiar with. Please enjoy!

Gilbert Arthur "Gil" Grissom

He's rank as CSI level 3. Being a Night Shift Supervisor since season 1, and later retired in season 9. Everyone miss him a lot after his retirement. He is always calm and acute at various situations, which always help cases solved.

Archie Johnson Audiovisual technician
The reason I choose to introduce him is definitely not because he is pretty handsome, but he is the only Chinese American role in this series. Anything about computer can't bother him, he can always find the way to figure it out.

James "Jim" Brass    Detective Captain

Dr. Raymond Langston
He has medical degree and was a pathologist at a hospital before he joined CSI's team. I really like this role because he always trying to find out the motive of the suspect and why they displayed such violent behaviors. He truly probe into the mental part of every legal cases.

Nicholas "Nick" Stokes
Rank as CSI level 3, he appeared from season 1 to season 15, and left because of advancement. I think this role is the most emotional one in the series. He's attentive to evident investigation and also value the interaction between people.

Theme Song of CSI

The video on the top is the opening of CSI Season 1, and the song you heard is the theme song, which is continue to use in any other seasons. Its like a symbol of this series, which represented the beginning of each story. Take a look of the video, and youll found that it seems to be a really old series, because it was first released in 2000. CSI made an instant hit as soon as it has launched. And the theme song stayed in peoples mind.

There is something I have to apologize to, last blog Ive said that there are 15 seasons of CSI, but actually these 15 seasons are only focus on Las Vegas. And there are derivative series, including CSI: Miami for 8 seasons and CSI: New York for 7 seasons. So there is a lot more seasons than I thought before! Next week Ill make a thorough introduce to CSIs 15 seasons. Hope you enjoy!
